The
Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine (ISVM) established in
1981 is a professional organization of veterinary physicians /
practitioners in India. The primary objective of the society
is to bring the different members working all over the country
together and provide a common platform to project the
scientific, technical and clinical information pertaining to
livestock health. All veterinary graduates are eligible to
become members. The official organ of the ISVM is Indian
journal of veterinary medicine.
The
Society regularly organizes national seminars on various
topics every year in different parts of India. In the annual
meetings scientists and practitioners get a chance to
interact and share their experiences. Nine awards /
fellowships are being operated by the society at present. |
